Personalization

Beer list with photos and descriptions on one side, along with brewery's logo and art. Tasting event and brewery tour information on the back side of the wave. Logo and artwork was provided by the customer.

Method of Distribution

The table tents were placed in the center of each table before the afternoon and evening dining hours. Servers referenced the table toppers when they took orders, offering customers the chance to scan the different beer options, as well as the brewery tours and tasting events. When delivering the bill, servers referenced the table waves again, asking customers to find them on Facebook and review them on Yelp if they had a great experience.

Marketing Outcome

These vibrant table waves brought attention to the brewery's latest beer optoins and increased beer sales by 35% each month. They also encouraged customers to sign up for tasting events and brewery tours which were listed on the back side of the wave. The end result was increased revenue for the brewery, and more attendees at their beer tasting events and tours. Method of Distribution

Coupon Gatefold folders are given out at parties, banquets, and special events to encourage customers to return in order to use their special coupons. Photos of each guest are taken during the event, and are printed in house at the restaurant so guests can take them home the same day.

Marketing Outcome

Customers loved having a photo they could take home to commemorate their event. The restaurant was able to track the coupons that customers brought back in, and saw a major increase in repeat business.

A small sandwich shop wanted to increase their lunch hour business. Their target market was people who worked near their restaurant.

Method of Distribution

Starting in November of the previous year, employees making deliveries handed out calendars to customers. The shop also kept a display box full of them by the cash register for customers to take. Since they are members of the chamber of commerce, the owners mailed calendars with their Christmas cards to other members.

Marketing Outcome

Shop owners saw a marked increase in lunchtime sales. Despite hiring more employees to make deliveries, profit margins rose.

Pizzeria Advertising Case Study by Warwick Publishing

Objective

A pizzeria in Chicago wanted to increase traffic from those living in their neighborhood. Since they supply pizza at various school events and community functions, they wanted to handout branded giveaways at those events, since those people were within their target market.

Method of Distribution

Employees took 100 calendars to each event they provided pizza beginning in mid-October through the end of December. Calendars were set up by the cash box or put in swag bags.

Marketing Outcome

Not only did the pizzeria see an increase in their profit margin from sales in their restaurant, but they also started catering more events and parties. This opened the doors to establishing a catering division for their restaurant.
